Security Mortgage, Inc. has three available positions at our Chicago suburban location. We are an A paper mortgage banker with access to many programs and investors. Great customer service is our goal. Our team includes in house underwriting, closing, and pricing departments. We are currently seeking a wholesale mortgage account executive, retail loan officer, and a mortgage processor. Account executive would visit brokers daily to build strong relationships. Through face to face sales calls and training sessions with brokers the account representative will increase business with existing brokers and build new accounts. Candidate will: Review loan scenarios with brokers to determine product and pricing eligibility.
Be available to brokers to provide customers service on loans from submission to closing.
Meet with prospective brokers build on current approved broker list.
Work with in house team to build on marketing campaign/ideas and distribute materials to brokers.
Provide training for brokers on programs and guidelines to build solid business relationships. Experience within the mortgage industry is required. Prior Account Executive experience a plus. Must have knowledge of Fannie Mae/ Freddie Mac guidelines. Requires great interpersonal skills, the ability to be productive under minimal supervision, and great problem solving skills. Account Executive position offers a competitive base salary plus commission. Loan Officer will increase mortgage loan portfolio by developing business contacts; attracting mortgage customers; taking loan from application through closing. Candidate will: Help consumers determine loan program to meet their needs.
Determine program/ product compatibly.
Assist processing in meeting necessary conditions to close loans.
Must be licensed thru DBRE for loan origination. Prior mortgage sales knowledge and experience a plus. Requires great interpersonal skills, the ability to produce under minimal supervision, and great problem solving skills. Loan Officer position offers a competitive commission structure. Mortgage Processor: will be responsible for complete processing of the loan file once received from the originator. Candidate will: Request and secure all necessary documentation to gain loan approval.
Submit file to underwriting and meet all conditions to bring file to closing/funding.
Be familiar with FHA, FHLMC, and FANNIE MAE guidelines. Communicate with loan officer, customers and all other interested parties regarding the status of the loan.
Have great organizational and interpersonal skills.
